SHEET / 02 — SERVICES

Consulting, kept lean and outcome-driven

A small set of focused engagements for founders and teams: define the problem, make the plan, ship the work, and leave you with systems you can run without me.

SHEET / 02 — SERVICES

Lean engagements, built to ship and de-risk

Pick a mandate, get a clear owner, and move in tight cycles. Minimal meetings, written decisions, measurable outcomes—so progress is visible and the next step is always obvious.

S-01

Strategy

Clarify the goal, define success metrics, and choose the smallest plan that can work—so the team stops debating and starts executing.

S-02

Engineering

Unblock delivery with pragmatic architecture, technical leadership, and hands-on problem solving—without creating dependency or churn.

S-03

Due diligence

Assess product, codebase, and risk fast. You get a candid readout, priority fixes, and a decision-ready memo.

S-04

Operations

Tighten execution: planning cadence, roles, and lightweight process. Less noise, fewer surprises, more shipped work.

NOTES / SERVICES FAQ

A few things people ask before we start.

Simple answers on scope, pricing models, time commitment, and what you get at the end. If your question isn’t listed, send a short note—one line is enough to begin.

Q-01

What’s the smallest engagement you’ll take on?

Typically a short diagnostic: 1–2 weeks to understand the system, the constraints, and the real decision in front of you. Anything smaller tends to produce guesses, not guidance—if that’s the case, I’ll point you to the right resource instead.

Q-02

Do you work fixed-fee, hourly, or on retainer?

Yes—depending on the work. Defined deliverables (audit, roadmap, due diligence) are usually fixed-fee. Ongoing leadership (fractional CTO / advisory) is a monthly retainer with an explicit cadence and scope. Hourly is rare and used only for narrow, time-boxed support.

Q-03

How much time do you need from our team?

Minimal, but intentional. Expect a single point of contact, a kickoff, and a few scheduled checkpoints for decisions. Most work happens asynchronously: docs, diagrams, and recommendations delivered in writing so you’re not stuck in meetings.

Q-04

Can we start under an NDA before sharing details?

Of course. We can sign a mutual NDA before any sensitive context is shared. In practice, this speeds up scoping because the work can be quoted from real inputs instead of vague descriptions.

Q-05

What do we actually receive at the end of the work?

Clear artifacts you can keep using: notes, findings, decision log, architecture or system maps (when applicable), recommended plan, and any deliverables created for the engagement. The goal is portability—your team can execute without becoming dependent on me to interpret it.

DOC / 04 — ENGAGE

Send the brief. Get a clean scope.

Share the problem, constraints, and what “done” means. A named lead reads it and replies within two business days with next steps and a simple scope—no deck required.
